Join the Student Conference Committee
October 24, 2004 06:14 PMWe will be organizing the annual student conference, scheduled for March 2005, and we need committee members to organize and produce it. The annual conference is an opportunity for undergraduate and graduate students to present academic work in panel or workshop form. Between now and March, we need to do a great deal of work to produce this conference, and we need YOUR help in pulling this off. We need students who are productive, creative, and reliable, which you all are. If you are interested in helping put this together, we're having a meeting this Wednesday, November 3, at 11:00 am in the Cinema Studies "fishbowl" (room 643). There is no need to RSVP. You may simply show up. The meeting promises to be under an hour in length and we will discuss the various jobs we need to do and how you can help. A good time will be had by all.
